MRP40 is an amateur radio software program to receive morse code via soundcard, it allows to transmit morse code from the keyboard. Ham radio operators use MRP40 to overcome weak DX conditions.
MRP40 helps to score in CW contest.
Compatible with Rigblaster Plus Models
Compatible with Rigblaster Pro Model
Compatible with SignaLink
Performance:
- Very good decoding of weak, noisy and fading signals
- Almost 100% copy in heavy CW contest conditions and local QRM
- Decoding now better than famous MRP37 Morse Decoder (MS-DOS version, no longer for sale!)
Features:
- Morse Code Decoding 0.4 to 60 WpM
- Morse Code Sending 0.4 to 60 WpM (via RS232 serial Comport OR via Soundcard audio tone, speaker out)
- Text- and Graphic Display for the morse signs
- High performance software CW Filter
- Automatic speed recognition
- Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
- Automatic tracking of "drifting" signals (via AFC)
- A brand new feature does automatic formatting of un-spaced words
MRP40 Features:
> Morse Code Decoding
Translation of Morse Code (audio signals) to Text ASCII
Speed range: 5 to 60 WpM
Audio Input via Soundcard ( Mic or Line )
Decoded text is clearly displayed on the screen.
Font size can be changed to best convenience.
Received text is automatically stored in log file.
> Morse Code Sending
Transmit morse code from the keyboard; Key output via RS232
Speed range: 5 to 60 WpM
10 predefined text memories available for rapid sending of repeating phrases.
A small "Tx-Macro" Window allows to insert variable words (for example name, call) into pre defined text.
Two interface schematics included in program package.
a) standard RS232 interface circuit
b) RS232 interface circuit for tube transceivers ( -65 Volt)
> Audio Analyzer FFT Display
displays incoming audio Morse sings graphically
gives you full overview about any CW activities on the recent audio band.
resolution (speed) of FFT can be changed to enable display of QRSS CW
> Build in CW Filter
extremely selective, typical Bandwidth is 30Hz (dynamically adapted to speed)
near by "interference" signals are totally suppressed and can not disturb the decoder.
> Build in AFC (Automatic Frequency Control)
tunes signal exactly into center of CW filter and follows "drifters" automatically
> GoToMax Button
forces immediate tune to frequency of strongest incoming audio signal.
> Build in Smart AGC (AutomaticGainControl)
compensates all kinds of fading and intermodulation.
> Full Automatic speed recognition
tracks quickly and precise the speed of incoming station
> Audio volume indicator bar
displays level of incoming audio volume
> Text Formatting
does automatically re-format "un-spaced" words
System Requirements:
CPU: Pentium 450 MHz or faster
Operating System: Win95 / Win98 / WinMe / Win2000 / Win XP
Soundcard: any general purpose. ( e.g. PCI or On-Board Sound)
